Good Afternoon all,

I am in a little bit of a quandary at the moment as to what winter gear is going to be most appropriate. Until now I have been fairly happy with my cheap Buffalo textiles. However, there are two issues with these. Firstly, the jacket is high-vis, which doesn't look amazing. Secondly, they are not waterproof in the slightest, which kind of negates the point of textiles.

So, it's time to upgrade. I've been thinking about a set of two-piece leathers for winter, and I would like the advice of my fellow BCFers. In particular, the pie-eating variety. Have any of you got any experiences with decent two-piece sets for about £400 or so that don't make you look like this man?

Im a fat pie eating b@stard, i went for 2 piece Furygan leathers. They are not waterproof am yet to find anything that is 100% waterproof but i wear a waterproof suit over the top (again not 100% waterproof as you always get wet at the crotch).

I managed to pick up a set of fatboy sized Scott leathers for around £400 a few years back, although I have since moved on to A*.

As said above, just get a waterproof set to go over the leathers and everything should be peachy!

I also suffer from the fat bugger gene . I got a set of JTS two piece leathers. They fit ok and you can get choice of leg size . But to be honest the quality is not that great but they do the job of covering my fat ass.

That guy's not fat,
It's just the horizontal stripe making him look like that.
