I have now bough a bike (gsxr 600 on a 53 plate). Have my theory booked for the end of the month and got the money for my test. Got a avg k3 helmet, a held textiles jacket and just paid for some alpinestar s-mx goretex boots on another forum . Think ill be on the road again by christmass . Just a random thread because im excited. Anyone use any of this kit and have any review or comments about it? Thanks

I've got some SMX-R goretex. Good sturdy boots so far. Not tried out the weather protection yet. But they have a scratchy label on the upper rim of the outside of the boot.

I got those over the SMX-5 WP as they felt a bit sturdier when I got to twist, pull and squash them in the shop. They look better too...
