A lot?
Thats a bloody big bore and stroke on that engine, nearly 200cc!
I only bored my car out by 100cc, and thats a much bigger engine, the cylinder walls must be very thin now!
Look at the graph in the pictures, thats a very smooth power curve for a 2 stroke!! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR

Suspect pretty much the whole engine will have basically replaced though. Probably original crank cases machined, but then new crank, pistons, cylinders and head I'd expect.
Oh and if you haven't seen it, here's another place that does some ypvs tartin'...

Note their 1100cc triple project!
Seat of the pants, bigger modern 2 stroke enduro bikes tend to feel very smooth power delivery wise. Here's a 300EXC - https://www.pbase.com/jdjetting1/image/85421162 - I suspect the blip below peak power is maybe powervalve spring settings? |
