Apart from the obvious 'funny' riders e.g rider - topless and shorts in the summer days, I've seen some rather weird and wonderful antics.

I've seen a cyclist pedalling in London roads wearing a full face motorcycle helmet with matching gloves, boots, shin and elbow pads with shorts and t-shirt on.

Stuck in traffic and a scooter revving the shit out of his bike JUST to mount the pavement for a shortcut. After almost blowing his bike up - he managed to squeeze himself just infront of the car he was literally behind. What was the point?

At the lights and a motorcyclist pulls up next to me...singing his heart out. It was SO loud, like he was personally wired to some heavy sound system. Bless him, so happy and not a care in the word and even singing all the backing parts of the song. He didn't care that everyone was giggling and staring at him for he was a) completely out of tune and b) singing some boyzone song.

Just this morning at the traffic lights, an empty peanut butter glass jar was fashioned onto a footpeg with cable ties. Shocked Am I being a complete noob? What was the purpose of the peanut butter jar?

I saw a Pan European sitting in a long queue on the M25. He might as well have been in a car?

Get overtaken quite often on earlies by a big fat bloke on an old (R-reg) R1 that looks like it's been down the road a few times.

This week, I had to commute on my R1 and he overtook every day whilst I was filtering, round a blind corner (me slow & careful, still mostly on our side of the road, him, lightspeed and insane into oncoming traffic).

Got to the temporary lights causing the queues one morning and he's right there, for all his right-hand action.

"Pussy", he says to me.

"Wow, you've put on a lot of weight, Valentino," I replied. Laughter from other gathered bikers.

You've not won a race if it's only a race in your own mind. Laughing

Follwing Dilyan on here back from camping in North Wales.

He always listens to music when he rides, behind him near Chester he was pulling out some very impressive moves whilst riding his Thundercat! Laughing

I was trying to guess what he was listening to Laughing

Some Idiot biker Overtaking me on the inside of me whilst I am on the inside lane approaching my junction.

I near shit bricks as he roared past me and then proceeded to hammer out to the outside lane.

I was riding in the town once and seen this bald, leather jacket tough looking dude putting his bike helmet on, one of the tough biker ones just a hard hat basically, couldnt see his bike as cars where parked all along the road and what was a getting on to as i got closer and looking....a vespa. so didnt look right at all or what I was expecting to see.

I used to sing on my ped when I had to go to work and took me ages on a crappy dual boring carriageway.

Some guy on a big yellow trials always waves at me like a loon and people used to follow me to Shocked groups of teens on hair dryers waving and tagging along. When I pulled up they did and just waved and looked goofy Neutral then continued to tag . They where emos. Not chavs,.

A few years ago I went to a butterfly house thing in scotland.

whilst in the car park a HUGE leather clad bearded Patched Harley came in with a small child on the back.

Later on during my visit I went to the creepy Crawly section and saw said Biker Cowering and trying to run away from small child who was holding a Giant millipede.

I saw someone on a scooter ride past me when I was 18 wearing a full spiderman costume, even had the face mask on under the helmet. Must of been a bet or something or on his way to a fancy dress, was quite amusing.

Can't think of anything else other than people riding in shorts and t-shirt etc. Noticed allot of scooter riders recently just wearing shorts and t-shirt.

The funniest rider I have seen was most probably the toughest on the road. She must of been in her 80's, on a harley davidson tourer wearing what looked like a m35 helmet with black goggles and full leathers with tassels.

It made me laugh inside the first time I saw her but I would never mess with her as she could most probably take about 50 guys Shocked .

I know their will be yearly changes and what not, but surely for most reasonable purposes an R1 is an R1?

In the summer I frequently see a chap on a big tourer who rides in shorts, t-shirt and trainers, but then tops it all off with a hi-viz vest.

Whilst i'm certainly no safety-nazi, and have ridden in shorts & trainers numerous times, i find the addition of the hi-viz to be slightly incongruous.

It sort of makes sense, assuming he's just cruising about on his tourer and not going anywhere near the bikes limits, then I think it's fair to say that a large chance of an injury will come from a car/bike interface.

As it's seems pretty accepted that a motorcycles small size and low visibility are contributing factors to car/bike collisions, taking steps to make himself more visible should make a collision less likely....

Although I know logically that the most likely injury to get whilst motorcycling is to get hit by a car; which can occur at any time when riding, I only really worry about leathering up when going out for a hoon. Just individual assement of risks vs trade offs I guess.

I once got overtaken by a CG125 where the rider had his feet on the passengers foot pegs and was steering by holding onto the forks as low as he could reach. It was my uncle and he nearly made me fall off i was laughing so hard Laughing

My signature is air drumming at traffic lights.

No, i'm not talking about just drumming on the tank, i go mental. i'm hitting the invisible crash and ride, slamming the bass pedal and doing decent fills too.

Once my mate came with me for a ride, nearly dropped his bike laughing at me.... then joined in with an epic air guitar solo.

's all in the name of banter eh Thumbs Up

Twats on R1's etc in full racers crouch droning alone the motorway at 60mph being overtaken by a certain someone on a ZRX sitting bolt upright at 130mph....

Clueless fucking bampots on Harleys holding up traffic in the canyons because they're incapable of riding faster than 30mph SLOWER than the speed limit when faced with mild curves in the road.... Arnold fucking Schwartzenegger is one of them. Utter CUNT!

Guy in the outside lane of the M25 near Heathrow on a Burgundy Pan European. Wearing brown corduroys and slippers. Must of been 70+

Seen a guy on the A20 in SE London with a pipe in his mouth on a newer pan euro. Think he's a courier.
