So it's been about a year now since my crash, and my solicitor has started talking about getting the compensation for my injuries sorted out.
I'm having a lot of problems with my hip right now, i've seen a few specialists and physiotherapists about it, but I get a different thing from them every time... 'it's a soft tissue injury, should heal in 2 months', 'oh, it might just be the tendon stretched' and all that jazz.
Had an x-ray where nothing shows up in it, but i get a hell of a lot of pain in my hip when I'm walking...
Have to live on painkillers when i'm working too.
So, what the hell do i do about it? my GP just prescribes me painkillers for it and says to wait it out, but it's been a year and it's starting to get worse.
Soon as the hip has healed, i can get the compensation sorted out but this is starting to become a right hassle.
I've told my solicitor i'm still having problems with it, and i suspect he'll sort me out with another examination at some point...
Anyone else had this kind of problem? I've never had an injury that couldn't be diagnosed before...
ideas?
Cheers
