I don't think any of them are really any good for bikers use, perhaps with the exception of SOS though as far as I know they don't do breakdown cover as a policy you can buy.
I've had several really shitty breakdowns with both the RAC and AA and they're equally crap at either coming out on time, fixing the problem, or getting you back home by a reasonable time either.
In my experience you're lucky if they can even attend you broken down on a dual carriageway in the pissing rain within 2 and a half hours, and even then they'll have you wait another 2 hours for a recovery truck to arrive when they decide they can't fix it.
It's usually pretty pathetic with them in terms of standards of service, they certainly don't live up to their adverts!
If you are lucky enough to have them sent out to you by your insurance firm recovery policy SOS are great and actually can fix a lot of problems, but chances are you won't!
As far as I know most insurance firms will recover you if you have an accident, I don't know at what point it becomes serious enough though. Personally I find lieing to the recovery firm about what's happened usually works fine though, you don't have to mention 'accident'!
