I sometimes use those pocket warmers you see on the counter at Millets.

Open it up, give it a quick shake and chuck it in a front pocket. By the time you're geared up the thing's kicking out quite a bit of heat.

No doubt Lidl/Aldi will be doing another motorcycle special offer. I got a couple of long sleeve tops...technical clothing they call it. The chest area is windproof, as are the ...how to explain? the leading edges of your arms. Very Happy The other parts are errr.....not windproof.

If the wind is cold like it was at 7am at xx(x)mph on the M6/M5. Then you'll need a 3rd layer.

I'd rather freeze than drive a Rover 25.

I have a Montane windproof jacket that weighs about 45g and does a grand job.

Surprised nobody's said 'man up' tbh.

I'd just wrap up like the michelin man in all honesty, It'd be cheaper than forking out for a(n even more) windproof jacket. Having said that, I'm programmed for this 'bargain hunting' crap as of late, due to my income being less than a paper round.

Cheers,
Steve

Considered a screen? Givi do a range of universal ones:

https://www.givi.co.uk/Screens--spoilers/Universal-screens/

https://hondacg125.awardspace.com/screen.htm - some info on how to measure yourself to get the right size screen on that site.

Asthetically, some people won't like them but who gives a toss if they keep you comfortable and therefore safer in the cold winter months?
