^ the only reason I say relay is that a similar thing happened in my ex's car after going through puddles cos the silly bint thought it was funny watching the splashes.

Sorted the relay and it was all back to normal.

Dunno if that's of any relevance or not tho.

Sounds like the earth from the headlights is finding a path back through the loom via the indicators. Find the loom earth and fix it.

My SP1 occasionally did some similar stunts, it was always down to a big brown connector block on the left side of the clocks, giving that a good clean solved it for me
