The RSPCA have criticised a "sick prank" in which a cat had its fur dyed pink

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-11407516

I dunno about you guys, but i want one! Laughing
I think they're just keeping it away from the other cats to stop them becoming jealous and possibly trying to out do it. It will be easy to find the ones responsible, they will be the ones with a line of cats outside their house wanting to go blue/purple/green. Just think, you could dye your cat with hi-vis or glow in the dark colours and it will never get run over. It might however get stolen by drunk people.

The fact that they kept the dye away from the cats nose and eyes proves it wasnt done by anyone wanting to hurt the cat. I think its cool. I want one!!

I can't say I agree with it, granted it seems they took care not to get it in the cats face but still Confused

It does look bloody cool though and kind of reminds me of bag puss and for that reason alone I'd like a pink cat!

In no way is that a sick prank.

They didn't want to hurt the animal.
It makes no difference to the animal itself apart from extra attention.
It just looks like win.

I dare not do it because I might get raped by the police and rspca.

I'm a major animal lover and I think its cute. I'll take a blue kitty please. As long as the animal isn't harmed then I see no problem with it. Some people just have a thorn up their arse about anything and everything.

Looks pretty good to me.

Some people just want an excuse to get their knickers in a twist. Regardless of how trivial.

would like to say prank, but cats are very fastidious regarding cleaning and grooming.

doubt that the fact the 'dyers' avoided the eye area means they gave much consideration to how the cat would digest the dye during grooming..... Rolling Eyes

So Prank... maybe
good idea, NO Thumbs Down

I can't see the cat being bothered or even noticing it except it wouldn't like being wetted.
