I've got a bit of a man-cold and my chest and bottom of my throat feel full of it, it's horrible, it's yucky and I just want it to go away!! Evil or Very Mad

I work in an office all day, ride my bike there and back and have a 2 year old at home who I don't really want to copy me going HHHRRRRMMMPH, HHRRRRRMMMMPH, HHRRRRMMMMPH-GGGRRRRRLRLRLR-SSSPIT for the next 3 weeks! So I have limited time in which to be able to bring it up - plus it never comes up when you want it to anyway.

How do you get rid of yours!? Sick

Can't help you with a solution - but I can sympathise. I am dying - I have warned people at work so now they stand outside my office and phone me whilst looking through the window.

Get yerself down to Bethnal Green or Stepney, if you're not lobbing a bombay oyster on the pavement every few steps there, they will think you are peculiar. You can have a good clear out without anyone batting an eyelid.

Honestly, it's getting so treading in dogshit instead of a grolley makes a refreshing change.

I've had a cold this week. But luckily it's been rather mild. i.e I had a sore throat on Sunday and I am already at coughing stage. Should be fine by the weekend.

Here's a thought for you clever people out there.

Why are colds more common in winter? Bacteria and viruses thrive at body temperature. Summer temperatures are closer to body heat than winter, so why do these diseases thrive in cooler weather?

Because you spend more time indoors and therefore come into contact with more of the bad bacteria.

Or at least that's what I was told, it makes sense to me.

Also, best cure I know for manflu is a hot curry, clears everything pretty damn well!
