I haven't needed to re align a headlight in a fairing before, but if you're turning the adjuster and it's not doing anything then the thread may have been stripped. it's probably worth taking the nose fairing off (not hard) and having a look at the back of the headlight to see if anything is broken or stripped. Maybe a mounting lug/lugs is/are loose and the headlight has flopped down.

If you can re-align the headlight with your hand you could probably bodge it with duck tape and/or cable ties. If not, there's a few FM headlights on ebay around the £30 mark.

You are turning the right adjuster.... Many have 2 one for left to right and one for up/down Thumbs Up

+1 for taking the fairing off and having a proper look at whats going on.

It could be either, when fitting the new front end. They broke the fixing or maybe its not adjustable and requires the whole light fitting to be moved.

Better to find out now, than spend money only to find out afterwards.
