Sold my RS125, first bike, 5 years, I'm feeling sad :(

I thought to myself that car lessons would be too long and difficult, so I researched into bikes and joined this forum.

I bought it in Feb 2005 brand new after considering the NSR or Mito.

The pic in my Avatar is the bike from the first day. Not got it on my PC anymore so I can't post the pic.

Here it is about a month ago.

I had it for 5 years, my only vehicle til now. I rode it through the summer to epping forest, hoddeston and others palces. I really did enjoy it in the sun. The girls use to love it, I was the first biker in my group of friends. I was different and unique.

In the winter I would love the smell of warming it up, that lil rattle of the 2 stroke engine. I remember starting off with little gear, feeling the cold, getting wet, but still just having a great feeling of being free on the roads and nodding to other bikers.

I had 1 crash on it after exactly one year, and have a scar for it.

One more followed in March 2009, and I was tempted to let the insurers keep it, but I didn't because it was cheaper, but the main reason, it was my lil baby.

I had a great 5 years with her and it was actually a sad feeling to let her go. I didn't think I would feel this way but I do.

800 quid in my pocket though.

I sold my first road bike, a 1976 Fizzy, to help fund an RD125LC in 1986 and I've regretted it ever since.

I have the blue one Ariel, but I guess it's not the engine but the memories. I'm not sure but it's a missing feeling
