Winterproofing?

Hey there all,
so i was wondering what steps i can take as i plan to use my 01 NSR125 for as much of the winter as possible (although a month or so break through the worst of it to tear her appart would be nice ).

I was wondering what steps could be taken to keep the bike in decent shape, there are some ever so minor rust marks coming through in places and i figure adding salty water really wont help...

Anywho, my first step was thinking about getting some candles and waxing over all the rustable parts, anyone think this will work out?

Secondly change coolant and add antifreeze! (would rather not leave the engine blocks fate in the previous owners hands).

Any other thoughts on what i can do to keep the bike in good nick would be very much appreciated.

ACF50 - google it, it works

ACF50 - regular cleaning and a rinse of alloy parts after each day (but only to wash the worst of the grime off, strong cleaners will remove the ACF50).

Googled ACF50, top banana's will grab some of it this week.
