ive got a sr125 and the other day i noticed the bike had an oil leak. it seems to be coming from the middle (where the center stand is). also there are two tubes, one slightly thicker then the other (not sure if these are suposed to be joined), and is an oil leak a common problem for the SR's

seems more like oil from excess lubing of the chain.

However the tubes mentioned shoukdnt be joined. One I would imagine is the battery breather pipe and the other being the carb drain pipe and or possibly the engine breather. Follow the pipes and see what they are connected to

Correct!
I would just add by saying buy some "GUNK", It's a rinseable depressant. Give the engine a good degreasing and look again to see if the oil is actually coming from the chain or elsewhere.
