new leathers?

hey guys recently bought a new set of 1 piece leathers, and i know there supposed to be tight due to being new etc, im around 5ft 10, and slim build, with a chest about 36" but they feel a bit tight around the groin, is this normal? will they back off? any help would be a god send, as this is my first piece of leathers!
