Anyone know how many ball bearings there are supposed to be in the top and bottom race of the headstock bearings?

Hope I'm looking at the right section of the manual.
"STEEL BALL
Apply grease to the upper and lower inner races when installing the steel balls.

Number of balls:Upper=22pcs
Lower=18pcs"

If any more help is needed I have the GS125 Service Manual. Mr. Green

I took them out and they fell all over the floor so I don't think I put them all back Laughing

Only two missing, not bad considering the other attempts at maintaining the bike. Did you not wonder why it wouldn't tighten up correctly?

no Laughing I thought it was fine.

Update the project thread with lots of pics. I wanna see my old baby getting some love.

Any more bodges been found?

Ive got a new engine going in mine. Only 1.5k miles on it. woop
