Is it possible or would it look cack?

In the process of spraying my plastic side panels on my Hornet and don't know whether to lacquer them or not...

I know the matt black effect and that it would change this but don't want to buy fresh normal black paint as I have a can of this already...

yes lacquer can be put on top of matt black.
done it a few times & it certainly looks better than gloss black.
looks more like satin effect.
cheers,

Cool, I'll see what it looks like in matt black, just didn't want to go out and buy some other black paint when I already had some

Thanks

Be careful to spray the lacquer evenly. Any heavy spots will really show up against the matt paint.
