I just wanted to say I had my first day on a 500 yesterday and how much fun was that!!! it was fantastic!

I need at least a few more hours before my mod 1 to get used to the weigh - I am just over 8 stone so the bike seems really really heavy but had a great instructor and a fantastically fun day!! and I can't wait to get back on.

However now if feels like I shrunk my cg in the wash!
Very Happy

Welcome to the world of proper biking.

As much fun as the 125 is to learn on and pottle about on you realise how gutless they are when you ride something with a tiny bit of grunt.

When your riding around on the country roads doing the speed limit without the bike struggling and screaming beneath you, just a gentle hum, then you realise that this is what its all about.

Good luck with mod 1 Thumbs Up

Weight is only applicable when you are stood still or at walking pace. Once moving you cant feel it. Other than the fact a bigger bike feels more stable at speed Thumbs Up
