So some daft idiot let another car across without checking their left mirror... and I went into the side of a guys car.
Police said I wasnt at fault etc...and so my insurers pulled their fingers out Wink

The car may be a write off... unsure yet, but ive gone from this 3 litre obnoxiously noisy beast...

To this, highly refined and VERY comfortable...

Italian piece of....

Fun Very Happy

Alfa Romeo Spider 2.4 Special editon thing... some awesome turbo on the engine and a fairly decent average 20mpg Laughing

The luxuries of this car...make me not want the Supra back!

Very pointless post, but after driving with the top down in the dark...I realise I looked a twat.. Laughing Laughing

Now the agonising wait of repairs or write off, does it work the same way as a bike, someone looks at it, estimates current market value pre accident and sends cheque?

Paint diagram? Pics of the damage? Tut Tut

I bet the person who flashed the other bloke out feels like a twat, but flashing someone doesn't mean the roads clear, just that they're willing to wait. Highway code version of course doesn't mean that which is why it'll be 100% their fault for pulling out.

Love an Alfa, wouldn't mind owning one some day. For now my Fiat Bravo will do - not too bad as it shares parts with Alfa Very Happy

That sucks. A friend of mine in mainland Europe recently got rid of his Supra, as a change in law meant he was looking at a 10k bill to return it to stock. (Something to do with not being allowed to run an aftermarket turbo).

He swapped it for a 1.8 Celica. Laughing

Push to get the supra repaired rather than written off. It might not be worth a great deal, but it'll take ages to fix which means you'll have the alfa for longer.

I think I'll go out for a ride today. If I end up down your way I'll give you a call, alfa looks fun.

For clarification, I was in the Supra at the time of the collision and there's no way it's written off Razz It was a scratch I tell you!!!

I mean, fair enough it might now by uneconomical to repair but that's what you get for a cheap, fragile japanese dune buggies!

Only joking, I'm seriously going to miss that car dude Sad

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?
