It's not your position to make that decision or demand in my opinion. Though if you're genuinely concerned about him, hs riding and the public around at the time. It may be worth reporting him to the Police, obviously with no evidence they won't be able to prosecute, but may pay him a visit for a chat, that may change his attitude.

Who made you God?

You have very little control over other road users, the only one you should concern yourself with is you. Taking his bike off him means that he won't learn to be a better rider. What is telling is parents going to achieve?

If you are really concerned then book both of you onto a bikesafe, or similar, course.

I think that you have a responsibility in a way to do something, what if he killed someone, or himself? How would you feel?

If he's your mate, call it an intervention. Question is, what are you going to do when you've got his bike?

Sounds like he's a loony thats waiting for a Darwin award... you shouldnt worry he'll be collecting it from the man himself shortly.

if he isnt bothered how he rides why should you, because you care? maybe he does too but hes a selfish, show off, attention seeking prick? having his bike wont help.

Don't get on the back of his bike and tell your sister not to either. Try and be a positive influence in terms of safety etc for him, but you cannot do anything more than that.

Why would you think you could take his bike?!?

Tell your sister that she will die if she goes on his bike. If she still gets on the back then you have done all that you can.

6 dead biker mates in 1 year? Training schools up your way seem a bit lacking.

Just take a step back. You can't control something that you have no direct effect on. Ain't worth the worry.

You were on his pillion.
Dont go there again.
Tell your sister.
When she's on his pillion he may ride completely differently.
May not, but up to her to decide for herself.
When your calmer.... tell your mate you think his riding sucks, & you wont be riding on his pillion again, & you think he needs to get some training or give up biking.
His choice what he does about it.
If ghe's a mate worth having, he'll pay it some heed.
If not..... well?!?
Telling his parents?!?!?
That's called shit stirring, and not likely to do the situation ANY good what so ever.
MAYBE in the right situation, IF he doesn't pay any heed to your comments, it might be worth a 'mention', else drop it.
There's plenty of arseoles on the roads.... what you going to do?
Put your grundies on over your leathers and become the Road-Safety Vigilante!?

He's your mate, only you know how close your relationship is. If your long time friend bollock him take his bike, keys or whatever and tell him too sort his head out.

If he's not a close mate, bollock him and tell him feck off Razz

Do whatever, it's your choice people on the internet can't tell you shit about your personal situations.

Your imagination is a rich tapestry but it's starting to run pretty threadbare. What you're still too young to realise is that while every story you come out with is perfectly credible in isolation, once you add a bunch of them together you start to look like a prize nutcase. When are you planning on pulling a family out of a burning car?

So if you lot had mates like that, you wouldn't care at all, or try to talk sense in to him? Okay your not god but seriously..

I know if my mate rode like that, okay its his life and its up to him what he does, but I'd be a little concerted and definitely tell him he's playing a risky game, what could happen etc. An tell him out right "carry on like that it doesn't look like it will be long before you end up in A&E"

I probably wouldn't go as far as taking his bike off him or telling his parents, we all learn from our own mistakes and one day he may actually grow up and realise he's riding like a bit of a dick.

I would avoid going pillion& riding with/ near him though, until he changed his riding style.

And i think I'd book him a bike safe course too.

Those I consider to be mates are people I've known for years. The sort that have looked after my kids for a week to give my wife a break or have got up at 3am on a workday to meet me at the airport I don't consider people that I've 'known' for a few weeks or months to be the same.

The difference is that when we ride we pretty much know whats expected. No macho stuff to impress, just enjoy the day. I'd happily put any of my family on the back of their bikes in the full knowledge that the rider will do all that he can to keep them safe.

Seriously though, if your mate is riding like a doucebag, all you can do is have a word to calm it down.

Your sister doesn't want to go near him or the bike now. Problem solved.

Now try to invent some stories with some credibility please?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
