GS500 L reg £550

1993 GS 500 E - 46000 miles approx

I bought this bike 18 months ago @ 32000 miles and revived the dying bike and got it road worthy again. I have always kept this up to a high standard as it is my commuter bike. I recently done a load of work on this the list is below with the milage next to the job for your reference. As I said it is my commuter bike, so it is a bit scruffy and has a few scrapes here and there. I ditched it at a round-a-bout last winter as I slipped on ice, the right hand generator cover was scratched and had a whole in it. I was able to repair this part as oil does not flood out of it. I patched it with mild steel and liquid metal, then painted over the top to stop corrosion. There are also a few scratches on the exhaust cover, right hand bar end and master cylinder for the front brake. But, everything works as it should and has passed an MOT in this state. So, bad bits aside, here is what I have added to the bike;


New chain and Sprockets - 36000
New air filter - 32000
New oil filter - 43000
Oil replacement - 43000
New front disc - 38800
New front brake pads - 42000
New rear brake pads - 42000
New rear tyre - 44000
New front tyre - 38800
New spark plugs - 38800
Resprayed the entire exhaust system with VHT matt black
New mirrors
New Clutch cable - 43000
New speedo cable - 32000
Both fork seals have been done (receipts included)

Tax - 12 months
MOT - April 2011

I recently cleaned the carbs and the air filter, and wire brushed the spark plugs, all look fine and work well.

EDIT: I forgot to add I have jacked the rear up by 15mm and added an brand new fuel cap.
