Win 7 Connecting to router problem

Hi all,

Trying to sort out a new PC for a mates dad, for some reason it won't connect to his wireless network. It already has one PC connected via cable and my iPhone connects to the wireless as does my mates Mac.

The wireless appears to work, detects networks and can connect I even had it working but something seems wrong. After I had it working it them dropped the connection then it wouldn't connect at all. Now sometimes it connects then spends ages on the 'identifying' part then says cannot connect.

I have tried rebooting deleting the connection and starting again and updating the network drivers it just doesn't seem to want to connect. I was thinking IP conflict but normally it would say right?

Tonight I am going to try a USB wireless card see if it is a problem with the adaptor.

Not bad is it and a 3 year warranty. There is a better one for £50 too.
