Its good to see a little (and I mean 'little') revival to the British car industry.

My old boss used to have about 6 or 7 Morgans.

I saw my first one of these today, looked like a skinny quad bike coming towards me.

Even more awesome when you know the history of that car. He bought a set of origional chassis lugs for £20 and re-tubed it himself.
The Engine is 680cc (Ariel never actualy built a 680) with a hand made crank and very much more.
Transmition is via a Russian Dnieper motorcycle rear end.
The body is hand made by a guy that restores Spitfires from aircraft grade aluminium, the "sills" with the holes drilled in are Spitfire main wing spars and the engine is mounted on metal from a crashed Lancaster bomber. There are many more aircraft parts in her including seats from a Westland helicopter, some ME 109 and some MIG.

There was a small piece in the local paper, and i was going to pop over to the pub to have a look but i was already booked.

I get a good few mentions. There are two books in one book (you can read from either end) one is the factual building of the car the other is its fictional history. I feature in both Very Happy
