What is the regulation here?

SO many different views all i want is some on the back and front so i can been seen better.

As far as I know have been made aware red for back is okay and while for front.

Seen this posted about

"The Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations, 1989 (‘the RVLR’) restricts the colour, size and positioning of reflective materials to the rear and sides of vehicles. Basically, the RVLR prohibits the fitment of any colour other than red retro-reflectors to the rear of vehicles, except in a few very specific instances. When it comes to coloured tapes on the side of vehicles, there are certain colours that have 'special orders' or are approved for use on specific vehicles only. Blue belongs to the Police and emergency services

Regulation 11(2) paragraph 7 of Part I of the Schedule, blue for Police Forces, green for the Ambulance Services Association and red for the Fire
Brigade Service;"

Any experience feedback?

Red & white in the appropriate locations. Although you can happily cover yourself in blue, green, pink whatever.

TBH if they can't see your lights they won't see refector's either. I have a respro Helmet band that at least gets the High Vis up where it can be seen.

White facing front red facing rear.
Still good for when you lose a rear light or parked on a dark road with lights off.

I keep a piece of tape over my wallet just in case I'm invited down the pub. Laughing

So long as you avoid using blue anywhere, using red on the front, or using white on the back you should be ok.
