Right been to town tonight for a few drinks with my mate who is recently back from Uni.
Went out for a smoke nothing new there, just puffing away then some piss head comes up to me. (You know the type skin head, can't stand still.)

He started out nice, by asking for a lighter, which I give him as you would. Then he opened his mouth.

He started on about not been able to work due to a 'bad back' alarm bells ring instantly. Then he starts on about how the 'polish' should not be allowed into this country because they only send money home and don't spend it here.
At that point I told him my Gf is infact Estonian and works here, never sending money home and such. Thus making her a normal BRITISH person who works.

He came back with "Estonian, Polish, Russain, Lithuanian. Who gives a fuck, no matter what they say they are all money scamming cunts."

I changed the subject at that point as my piss was boiling. To How he hurt his back.
He said he did it after falling down some stairs and after been out of work so long (20years) it just feels right to keep claiming as he is scared of his back failing again if he works.

This I can understand, nerves and such, but what he said next really got me to breaking point.

He said "That is what I tell the DSA, I don't work because it is easier to get paid to live in a free house with me been an alky and not work because I know all these Polish cunts are paying for me to live for free."

At that point I stood up and went toe to toe with him. And told him in no uncertain circumstances if he did not stop saying shit like that then there would be a problem.

He carried on with that 'they' (I fucking hate it when cunts use the word THEY, it just proves that they themselves are uneducated little pricks who think they know the fucking world) should be thrown out of the country because we only need british people.

Ay up for a fucking second, my GF is splitting with me for 3months so she can work for a decent wage, and actually feel like she is contributing to this country because she spends all her money here.

After that I saw red, I threw hum over a bench and told him to back off or he would be hurt. And that he had pissed me off more than enough to be saying shit like that because my 'Foreign' Gf is paying for his fucking dole money.

He started mouthing off and squaring up when I went to walk away feeling i'd over stepped the mark when the little shit threw a pint glass at me.

After that things have just gone to a blur apart from been back inside the pub with the land lord telling me to calm down and he is like that all the time and I should just clam down and forget him.

Sorry but who can actually say, someone who works, lives and spends there money here shouldn't be here?

And what would you have done in this situation?

It's just the tag that everyone thats not English gets round here. To me she sounds more American English that Estonian. And she is far more understandable than some of the trogs that we have round her.

I just can't understand how people scamming not only me but everyone else English or not out of money can pass judgement on who is allowed in this country.

I'm not entirely convinced this event ever happened, but it creates a sort of interesting discussion on the merits of scrounging and immigrants.

The people at the bottom of the heap have a right to feel aggrieved that people come in and work hard doing the shit jobs they would have done. There may even be some cases where eastern europeans get jobs they cant do when people at the bottom of the heap could do the job better.

I worked at a recruitment agency, where local factory managers would say they didnt want any local people, only polish, as in their experience, they were better workers. So to pretend that they dont take jobs that local people could do, is wrong.

To dismiss any discussion of this situation as racist, is dangerous as it pushes people towards the people who really are racist.

On scrounging, I think most people would be happier working they just arent motivated enough to find the jobs, or fear the rejection of not getting jobs or being able to do jobs.

On them paying for him to scrounge, in which case he should be grateful to them, as we need plenty of taxpayers to support everyone else.

For those who dont know, Korn the guy who runs this forum is of polish ancestry although born here or something like that.

The comment about the UK an Ireland being soft touches is sort of correct. I can't blame the Poles et al for coming over and working, lets not get all romantic about it, its not just some noble work ethic, they're in it for the money too. I'd do the same thing if I couldn't find work here and Poland offered the kind of jobs and security (health and education etc) that you get as matter of course here.

I was reading that approx £130 odd million is paid in child benefit to Polish people who's kids are still in Poland, on the basis that one of the parents are working in the UK. As far as the rules are concerned there's nothing wrong in doing that; but is it right?

An EU resident gets the same access to benefit as a UK resident, there is no waiting period, no limitations. They also get access to all the usual services, NHS, Social work, Ed and comm Services.

In a system were real jobs are scarce and there are already a great many UK people out of work, you have to accept there has been some folly somewhere down the line.

Someone definitely made a mistake.

The drunk guy (if he does indeed exist) is merely a fanny and should be ignored.
