Afternoon chaps
Currently considering buying a C90 for a laugh and a bit of a restoration project really, found one for £230, runs & rides but it's shabby and has no MOT, and I'm pretty sure its tax exempt.
What is the going rate for cubs? I've seen newer ones go for £800 odd on eBay, and I'm wondering if they are really worth that?
Thanks,
Tim. ____________________ Speedshite 50cc > Honda XR125L > Kawasaki GPZ 500 S > 02 Honda Hornet > 05 Honda CG125 winter hack > 04 Kawasaki ER-5 > 99 Honda Hornet 600 > Kawasaki GPZ 500 S > 99 Honda Hornet 600 > 05 Honda CBR600F > 01 Honda Hornet |

I picked up a good condition C90 with 12 months MOT and taxed for £56.
Mind you, that was 1981. They may have gone up a bit since...
£230 seems a lot when there's a few on ebay in seemingly good nick for around £300 or so. Depending on how much work it needs, maybe offer them £150 or so for the 90? ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

I have no idea about these days, but I got mine for £150. It was as solid as anything. Was the most reliable thing ever. Even after it got smashed up in number 1 accident, it was rebuilt for little cost and ran again no bother, and even after number 2 accident where we both ended up in a ditch (thanks to a careless blind lorry driver who pushed us in there ), she started up again no problemo!
I had mine for a year or so, and sold her for about £30 more than I paid...ha ha ha!!! ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |
