Does anyone know what this paint pattern is called?

It looks like its all scratched but its glossy and lacquered.

Apparently its done by placing a rag over the paint but I don't know what its called.

First Google result says when done to walls it's called 'rag rolling'. Dunno if there's a specific automotive term.

The crumpled up plastic bag effect. See it everywhere, really easy to replicate by all accounts - hence so many amateur painters using it. Thumbs Up
