When I cam back from Robby's place on saturday night I got more wet an olympic diver. Laughing
My Sidis still have not yet dried Exclamation Sad

What boots is everyone else using for winter?
I've ordered some M&P ones for £39.99 which are apparently 'totally waterproof'.

I've got some Daytona Roadstars, and (as yet) they have never let one drop of water in! I can highly recommend them!! Laughing

I've got some "Sidi Rain" boots, they also have not let in a drop of water, providing you have waterproof trousers OVER the boot, obviously.

Most "Touring" boots are waterproof, and are cheaper than these flashy boots because they are black instead of multicoloured Confused

I've just got a pair of Daytona Roadstar GTX too. I'd been using my Alpinestars SMX' and finally got fed up with cold wet feet and they are the second pair that the velcro has torn on. Only used the Daytonas a few times so far and they feel great, no water or cold feet and they feel 100 times better made than the Alpinestars. They also feel loads more protective and actually feel comfortable, always bought AS in the past, not any more though. Might get some Daytona race boots for the summer because I'm a fashion victim!

I've got those Alpinestars SMX Goretex boots and I've only had wet feet in them once, and that was when I had to put my feet down in an actual flood (thanks to Mr Retard who decided to stop in front).

The Goretex were a bit more expensive than the standard version, but the very nice people at Customlids.co.uk gave me them for the price of the bog standard boots cos they didn't have my size. Smile

I've got some Sidi Rain boots as well. I just wish I'd bought the next size up, cos with thick socks on theyre a bit tight. I've not actually worn them for ages either, cos I've got a big dressing on my toe and its hurts in my Sidi's. So instead I've been wearing my British Armed Forces issue assault boots. I'm sure Goose can agree with me on how waterproof they are.

I have always used my Frank Thomas Goretex boots since I had my NSR. I can't remember a time that I got wet feet, but then I try to avoid the rain anyway.
I just need some snazzy summer boots for when the weather gets nice again.

My normal sidi's have never leaked in the rain yet. Confused

Maybe try coating the leather in some waterproof compound?

I did the smarter thing and brought water proof boots and use them all year round.

don't fancy like buying several pairs of boots all the time...

I'm thinking of doing this, but seeing as my waterproof boots have already been ordered i'll probably not bother. The Sidis will just have to be relegated to summer use only.
