Get a hell of a lot better bike for that money.
Seems they are better than some Chinese bikes and hopefully have a bit more recourse when/if things go wrong, but wouldn't buy one new and second hand only as a project to mess about with a bit.

thanks G what about a honda crm 125? its going to be a commuter bike on no more than 20-25 mile trips .

Honda CRM makes a good road bike because it uses the NSR motor.
Not so great for off-road in nasty mud - I've 'kept up' fine on the one I used to have on trail rides, but taken a lot more effort.

They're supposed to be decent - no specific experience myself nor have I done that much research on them.
