Hi Guys,

Im new to the Biker Chat Forum, just bought a Megelli 125m off of a friend, 58 Plate only done 3,000 miles. Just it doesn't start as its been sitting in his garden for about 4 months. So im going to check the Carb and Flots and put a Fresh tank of Fuel in.

I was just wondering where i can get an Oil Fiter for it?

Ive looked around on the world wide tinterweb and found nothing except Brake Pads :/ ...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I have read it's chinease through and through, and I can't find an oil filter anywhere.

Clean the old one in petrol or your gunna need to ask at your local dealers.

Don't mean to be rude but I though those bikes were poored into ready made molds then fetled by little chineses to make them look good.

Not pal!

May have been designed in europe but like everything else these days, it's made in China.

This makes parts mega hard to get a hold of.

I would be a good idea for him to call these though.

speaking to a local suzuki dealer, who also happens to sells these bikes, & looking in their glossy brochure, it seems Megelli is british/european designed using some sort of hi-tec cad system & most parts are unique to the brand. (wheels frame etc)
& iirc 3/4 of the parts are made in taiwan & then its assembled & finished in china. (with european managers & standards)
the engine is made by sym (again taiwanese).
looking at it closely (while i waited the 2hrs on a part being delivered to the shop) its certainly well constructed & far better than any chinese bikes i've seen/owned.
certainly as good looking, if not better thans the yam r125 (which is probably its closest rival)
seems parts are relatively easy to get. (if a tad expensive) https://www.megelli-parts.com/
same company that sells blata trail bikes & thumpstar pit bikes seemingly.........
cheers,
GAZ
ps : to the op, this is the only oil filter that i can see https://www.megelli-parts.co.uk/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SECTIONID=Spare_Parts.html&NOLOGIN=1
number 8, £2.21, bargain!!!!
