Street fighting a ZX6R F3

Hello all users

I have just joined this site after spending hours looking for information on fighting up my zx6r f3

Posted this in the wrong place first time

Has any body on here done it?

Any pictures for inspiration, does the bike suffer with the air duct removed and can any one point me in the right directions about swapping the big bulky clocks with a decent digital speedometer/rev counter...Also bar conversions??

As I have it all stripped down now, need to get it built back up !

Any effects of removing the air duct will be negligible so long as you're not actually blocking off the airbox.

With a bar conversion you will need to get the top yoke drilled to fit the clamps/risers. The throttle and clutch cables may be too short standard and require the inner cables to be replaced with longer ones, same applies to switchgear leads.

Thank you for that, didn't even think about cable lengths

I have found bars/clamps so will find out the hard way

Junking the clocks and after acouple of emails to these people thinking about getting one of these

Koso are a popular make but I don't see any reason for those to not work. Go for the clocks you like the look of, they'll pretty much all give you a speed reading close enough to keep you legal but some will offer you additional features.
