my new aprillia rs 50 project

well basicly i got this bike about 2 weeks ago for £300 it was a non starter but i soon fixed that lol

stripped off the fairing's and wheels and cleaned it up a bit

resprayed the frame,wheels and some other parts white

resprayed the swingarm,forks black

repainted calipers red

and fitted a new twin carbon exhaust sounds great

still needs the fairings spraying and a few other bits

but here is what it looks like atm

Looks great, i have wanted an RS50 for ages to do up and mess about on. Those exhausts look awesome. Good job so far keep it up.

finally got round to doing an update

fitted new grips

and all the fairings are on but respraying them till i have more time

well finally got the bike down fins motorcycles to have the mechanic have a check over the bike

he said the engine was running brilliant for its age and had been looked after very well

feeewwwww lol

thats alot of weight off my shoulders

i have decided before i respray all fairings gloss black im gunna fibreglass the rear fairings together to make a wiked monotail rear

seen as im never gunna have anyone on the back and it looks cool

the rear mudguard is going and being replaced with a new creation lol

and where the side fairings attach to the nose cone im gunna do a white stitch affect saw it on my mates car and think it will look cool
lol

couple of things left to get new rear brake lever, new carbon levers, sprockets and chain, rear brake pads and wire up indicators

will update with pics when i get started
