Panniers on a XR125

Brought some cheap panniers on ebay for £15.50 posted and they come today. Fitted them under my seat. They seem to be alright..... I just never have fitted anything like that before.

Im only using the straps which come with them but there are two holes for cables on each pannier.

What do you guys think? Would you of fitted them any different?

They look fine; I'd move them toward the back slightly as when full they might make it uncomfortable when putting your feet down when stopped, but that's just personal preference. Main thing is trying to keep the weight inside the triangle formed by the two axles and your head, which they do nicely.

I couldnt move them back any more then i have due the the mounts for the seat stopping me!

One of the big concerns with soft panniers is burning on the exhaust. As long as when loaded the pannier doesn't rest against or get too close to the pipe you should be fine!

it rests on my side panels away from my exhaust! I was worrried about that before
