Bandit 600 K2 Spark Plug Socket Size

Hello all. Does anyone know if this would fit the spark plugs on a K2 600 Bandit. No toolkit supplied with the bike so need to buy something to check. Had a search but keep getting various answers. Thought the experienced BCF lot would know!

First unknown the Spark Plug size

So buy the [b][u]ORDINARY[/u][/b] Spark plug Remover

Use the remover just loosen it, then use the old [b][u]OIL PIPE[/u][/b] loose out.

no need special one.

I never knew this until recently.

Someone in their 'infinite' wisdom decided to use the diameter of the threaded part of spark plugs to identify the wrench size.
Most fcuking confusing.

Well I managed to find a long 16mm socket. Put that with a extension bar and got them all out. They look carbon fouled. Apparently this can happen due to fuel/air ratio mix up and a dirty air filter (which mine was awful!).

I've attached a pic so you can see what they look like. Should I replace them or just give them a good clean? Also, there is loads of rust on the 'nut' part.

Replace them, looks like it was due a good service anyway with the crudded air filter as well. Do the lot - filters. plugs, oil, tappets and carb balancing then you know where you are.
