Tomorrow (all things going to plan) I find out if it was the carbs that were the problem with the ZXR. If it is then it'll be sorted and I will be mucho happy  If not then I don't want to think about it 
So, please join hands, find a spare place around the bonfire and repeat after me, "It was the carbs, it was the carbs..."

The carbs made a difference but apparently it's still unrideable. Les is getting his Kwak mechanic friend from CBS (?) to take a look at it tomorrow. Meanwhile I've got to find the receipt and give the last owner a ring - mainly to find out as much as I can about what he did to it. That'll be a nice friendly phonecall then

CBC is a moped shop, about 50 yards down the road from me. Mind you they do have a Ninja in the shop and it seems not to be playing up so I guess they know their stuff

CBS is a ped shop yes but back in the day they used to be a Kwak only dealer and have had a lot of experience with the old Ninja's. I know he said he would do it on the cheap but with all this effort surely the bill is gonna come to more than the bike's worth? Maybe take it back to the muppet who sold it ya and beat the living crap out of him. |

For one i didnt expect Kristof to actually go out and do it and secondly i don't know of many insurance companies who come on here, even if they did how would they link this post to one claim out of the thousands that are made every week?
