Hi all

Just though I'd share the latest pics of my fightered 929 fireblade.

This was how it looked before i started work on it

This bike has

* One-off custom made top yolk by www.topyokes.com
* HEL stainless brake lines all round
* Custom bellypan
* One-off adonised gold rad grille
* Power commander 3
* Scorpian can (want an akrapovic if anyone has one)
* BMC air filter
* Gold renthal bars and bar ends
* Carbon fibre frame protectors
* Carbon - style rear hugger
* Carbon style twin dominator headlights
* Iridium flyscreen
* Custom paint job in Green and Gold (I know some wont like but i do so there!)

but why? apart from the nose cone it was a gorgeous bike before.

No not identical.....a lot of the opinions expressed before were about putting straight bars and a bellypan on....just thought i would update everyone.

I did it (*sigh* ) because i love the performance of sportsbikes but dont particularly dig the sporty look.

From a distance it was OK but the fairings and rear cowl were really poor quality painting. I kept the Green and gold cause it was different and i liked it, but apart from the tank it was a crap finish.

You've ruined it!


You've made a top of the range superbike look like a cheap, chavved up Bandit. Especially from the front - hideous. There are ways to do this properly if you really don't want fairings/clipons:

£180 but that included an extended clutch cable, risers and hel front lines. I could've bodged it with a drill but i wanted it to look nice.
