Grrrrr fu<king grrrr!!!
everytime i boot up it changes it to: https://ecmh.com/passthrough/index.html?https://www.download.com

download.com is what it should be.
now i've done a search of my comp and registry for ecmh but it came up with nothing. I've also run adaware 6 which didn't get rid of it.

Anyone got any other ideas?

cheers

Have you tried the 'msconfig' command in start/run and disabled any dodgy looking programs that are starting up?

Well if you think its spyware then get 'spybot', as adware is crap Smile

yeah, tried msconfig already and had a look at the services.

I'll try spybot tomorrow, as i've started a large download so don't really wanna have to re-boot to test spybot now.

cheers

Run this:

https://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip

That'll sort it out (and no reboot needed).

OOooo thank you. I'll try those when I get in tonight. My homepage keeps changing and I'm getting in trouble with James because he thinks I keep changing it to annoy him.
