Ok Chaps, I have given into temptation and got meself ze IBone.

I need to buy a decent case, it needs to be able to with stand the phone being dropped. Theres millions on eGay but not sure which one to go for.

So I ask, what case do you use and can it withstand a fall?

After reading that advert I might get one myself, you get a little clip to hold it horizontal, screen protectors, microfibre cloth etc.

If your getting the switch easy rebel read the instructions properly before fitting it. Its easy to do a crap job of it, paticularly getting the screen protector on! Its a great case though.

these are really good im always bashing my phone and these take the beating. and at this price you cant moan. they last for ever and if you wreck it just order another. come in all kinds of crazy colours.
they do take about 3 weeks to come but you really cant moan for £2 or £3

Another +1 for switcheasy rebel serpent... I had one on mine when I worked on building sites... seems to hold up to most things, only problem is the screen isn't protected from knocks etc so now I have a leather wallet case that has a hard screen cover.. I take the phone out of it when I'm in the office or at home and the phone isn't likely to get damaged..

I went for the white switch easy rebel case £15 from eGay.

Some reviews here so all in all a pretty decent case.

They give a good review if your looking for a case. Where else are you going to find the plus and minus of an item?

I agree the reviews are great, and I always use you tube for reviews, why?

Because I cannot be bothered to find out the item I ordered is indeed a pile of wank, then having to look again for a different item and re-order. The yanks do have a funny voice but all in all a great review.

Thumbs Up

I should get my case tommorrow, I will do a review for you gray hahaha

Don't mess about with it, Just grab an otterbox defender(heaps of reviews on utube)

Got myself one off ebay and it is brilliant.
Really protects your phone from just about everything.
Has a hard shell, a hard screen protector and a silicon case which goes over the lot. Plus a belt holster which it slips into and also doubles as a stand when sitting it on your desk.

It's actually quite easy to install on and off once you've done it a few times.

I bought this,

https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130359227342&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

which is good and an invisable sheild which is awesome and a must have IMO.

Ditto, used to have the rebel black and yellow then the serpent, got the defender a few months ago. Kept the screen protector on underneath the defenders own. Cant fit my iTrip in the bottom but small price to pay.

Yep, still using it and having no problems but after holding the new iPhone4 it seems huge now with the defender on. I am liking the look of the new one above.

Mine is still going strong. front screen protector is a bit marred but the alternative would have meant the actual screen was scratched.

As mentioned it adds some size but I wont have an iphone in anything else now.
I've seen a few friends brick theirs from simple drops.

I also don't see the purpose of those just above. The biggest risk is the massive screen and those offer no protection what so ever.
Pointless really. Just for the bling I guess.
May as well put purple anodized tartary on your bike as well Smile
