How were they? Scratched up my bike with metal stuck under my tank bag, and other bits too!

Unlucky, that's a nice bike.

I have, they are good for very minor scratches, the frame or filling the scratches on stickers.
But if the damage is a scuff as opposed to a scratch on paint work I would see if you can get away with masking tape along already established fairing contours and by the sides of stickers, prepare the area and spray it.

If it's scratching on the body!
Fill in any deep scratches with car body filler, sand till smooth.
Rub down with 80 grit wet and dry.
Then rub down with 1200 grit wet and dry paper until smooth.
Shake the can vigorously for two minutes.
Holding the spray can approximately 25cm away from the surface to be painted, apply a 2 to 3 coats of paint at 20 -30 minute intervals.

Optional for a better finnish:
Allow the paintwork 24 hours to dry then rub it down with 1200 grit wet and dry paper. It should lose its gloss appearance and take on a dull, matt finish. Clean with warm, soapy water, rinse and dry.
Apply clear lacquer.

You could just slap a sticker on it if it's not too visible, just sticker another one on the other side to make it look purposeful.
I did this on an Aprilia once, you could never tell the difference. I used Castrol stickers.

I bought some touch up paint and lacquer from these people:

https://www.rsbikepaint.com/en/

Bloody expensive mind, £8 per pot and each pot is something like 8ml Shocked

I've yet to try it (Its for my kawak swing arm) but I'll give you feedback if its good or not.
