Hi

Being just in the process of buying an XJ600 Diversion I have just rung up to get insured on it. They wouldn't add it to my existing 1200 Bandit policy as you cannot have 2 bikes on the same policy with named riders with that company (and Charlotte is a named rider). So it is on a new policy with no no claims bonus, Charlotte as a named rider and tpft.

£96

Cheapest insurance I have had in years (about 15 years).

Please feel free to add abuse.

All the best

Keith

Saves the abuse of the Bandit and keeps my pinkies warmer with a fairing.

Anyway, a Micra is hardly a superbike Wink

Yep, a Micra is slower. And the Diversion will have a working heater (OK, limited to the handlebars). The Diversion probably has a bigger boot.

All the best

You seem to keep saying things, but we cannot escape one fact here.

It's a Diversion. Neutral

Yep, cheap, cheap on petrol, big petrol tank (need a 165+ mile range),low seat, cheap insurance and should still do 120mph.

I'm not proud. The Micra must mean we share that in common Mr. Green

All the best

Should be useful, in June.

Diversion has a comfy pillion seat. Doubt that will be used either.

All the best

Divvy has a top box and I can use a personal stereo.

Joy? Micra? Surely mutually exclusive.

All the best

Try as you might, the fact remains.

It's a Diversion.

You will not sway me on this. And my Micra rocks. It's Korn's polo you should be taking the piss out of. Very Happy

It cost me £545 to insure the bike in my sig, and that was after some haggling!

Mind you I was 17 and on a provisional, and the bike is 52 reg, but it was garaged! (that's what I told them anyway, it's kept in my garden)

Micra > Polo.

Micra doesn't make worrying grinding sounds.
Micra doesn't smell like it's on fire.

I don't need to stoop so low as to mention the colour. Mr. Green

Polo > Micra. You, me and a dragstrip Cool

For your information the thing that was grinding has ground itself away, and the thing that was burning has burnt itself out. So there :-p
