Has anyone ever done any kite surfing? I'm desperately trying to find an exercise that I enjoy and I fancy a go, seems expensive to get a setup though, any experience?

Cheers

Head over to https://www.britishkitesurfingassociation.co.uk/ as they can tell you your local clubs and what gear you need to get going. If you borrow or hire gear (wetsuit, board, kite and ropes) it will make it a lot cheaper obviously. Can't tell you about kite surfing gear but I just paid £260 for an O'Neill Psycho 2 winter wetsuit that I will wear now until the end of the wakeboarding season in January. I definately reccomend good quality gloves for this time of the year too.

Oh, and if you do buy your own stuff try and avoid ebay. If you buy second hand see if people at your local club are selling any.

Not me.

But a more sensible winter-exercise for winter in the UK might be off-road (ideally enduro) motorcycling?

A lot more physical than even track racing at Cadwell.
