does anybody have any idea if you can put a LED tail light in a CG125?

I have this in my YBR and I'm 99% sure your 2006 CG has the same bulb holder that takes a BA15D bulb (if Wemoto are correct anyway). So just get this LED drop in replacement bulb.

It's pretty good IMO, just as bright, if not brighter than a filament bulb (whiter light, less yellowish), and doesn't make my headlight dim when under braking (where the filament bulb used to cause this a bit because of the extra 20W load on the electrics). It just operates in this way; dim as a normal tail light with all the LEDs on, which brighten when you brake.

might get one for the cg and would like to see what its like before sacrificing 7 quid

Can do although I'd imagine it will look a lot different through a camera compared to the naked eye, so not sure how useful it might be.

I have had one on my GS for over a year. Not as bright as filament bulb but works fine. Only got it because my bike just blew them every time I redlined.
