This might be common sense..But i used to love riding my bike to my favourite songs made it a whole lot more emotional to ride lol...Untill a friend tells me its illegal and if u get pulled you will get done for it,
This got me thinking its only the same as having a car radio on right ? and if not im sure some bikers use ear plugs to cut outside noise down! ? HELP! Question Question

I wear in-ear, sound-reducing earphones to listen to my sat-nav. Plenty of companies sell gadgets that will link a phone, sat-nav and MP3 player together and feed it to earplugs. When I'm not using earphones I wear earplugs. Not aware it's a problem at all, after all you can drive if you're deaf.

I suggest you break out the golden oldies and ditch the thrash metal/superhardcoremaddancetechno for when you're riding, coz it REALLY makes a difference to your riding. Lot less likely to lose a license with something slow and melow!

(do as i say, not as i do Wink )

Try riding listening to Beethoven 9th Symphony. Smile
You'll be taken the corners in style... but there are times when it speeds up, so you can still get some fun out of it Very Happy

Don't like the idea of crashing and having a headphone rammed up my ear canal, but it is legal to use them whilst riding.

Confused
I get enough more than enough emotion from listening to the sound of my engine or the beating of my heart while I'm riding.

I dont listen to music while riding. It would distract me too much. I'm reluctant to wear earplugs but now that I have a bigger bike I might invest in some.

Not at all. It was a small price to pay to drown out the voices in my head. I learnt that not all their ideas were good Laughing
