Well, after narrowing it down to either a Triumph Trident 900

or

Kawasaki ER 500...

I have chosen......



A 600 Bandit!

I'd go for a Hornet, Fazer or SV over the bandit given the choice personally. Bandit seems to be a bit heavier/less agile with no decent benefit.

Actually, I'd go for the newest sports 600 I could afford probably, but that's another matter .

Good choice. Slim Bandit is a great bike. Not as good as the Trident Trumpet, but nowhere near as pricy all round either.

If you keep an eye out... Molotov got a Hornet for £480 fairly recently.
Just got to keep a good eye out and jump on the bargains.

You can't go far wrong, but Bandits are quite heavy - I've dropped a borrowed one at 0mph, just leaned it too far in a car park, and down we went. As soon as I'd fixed it up, its owner dropped it as well - twice.

It wasn't stock and needed a little work, but for the price, certainly can't complain.
