depends what type of cycling:

descent world for downhilling in the uk

nsmb for your freeride stuff, mostly canucks

bikemagic for your xc fairys

mtbr covers all of the above, kinda like thumpertalk; you've gotta wade through lots of crap to find the golden nuggets and it is full of donut-munchers

Closed our website down, but the link in my sig now points to southern downhill.

Other than that pinkbike is good for freeride/foreign shores riding,
or if you like the bcf sillyness mbuk is full of 14yr old kids squabbling and being daft.

mainly do trails and communting, would love to do downhill but not really got the time to get into it.

more interested in advice on maintenance and gear

www.bikeforums.net is mostly US based but very busy with sections for types of cycling I've never even heard of.
