Do people still get viruses? I thought people learned how to tell what sites were dodgy, to tell that activex control to fuck off etc. Adware used to be a problem years ago, but since IE got it's shit together and most people stopped using it anyway i thought it was no longer an issue.

When i do run windows i do so with no security stuff on at all as any anti virus just slows the system down massively and it's pop up warnings and stuff are more irritating than adware!

Depends on peoples usage I think.
I get what you mean. I use flash, Add and script blocker too which speeds things up, but there are always little files that people download if you get what I mean. Trojans, viruses and worms.

I am running a trial of kaspersky at the mo and it detected a trojan on my USB (In portable software that AVG didn't detect.

It is the best reasonably priced anti virus out there according to independent benchmarking tests.
These OEM's are well cheap because you get a free upgrade to 2011 too.
