Basically, when i start it, and it hasnt been running for about over 30 minutes, when i rev it fully, it chucks out a lot of smoke, and it doesnt go above about 10mph, it goes slow and makes a really odd noise, then after about 10 seconds on it, i feel it kick in, and it picks up to normal pace again, and runs completely fine? any help, thanks..

By ped I take it you mean scooter. No idea about the smoke but when it kicks in this would mean the bike is catching up. Try putting some new rollers on. Oh, and when you pull away you are supposed to apply the throttle, not just whack it on as this can ruin your rollers.

My other guess is head gasket, but I wouldn't put my money on it!

G'luck Thumbs Up

If its 2stroke and the oil pump is cable controlled from the throttle, the smoke is from the oil being burned (assuming its white smoke and 2t). The engine isnt at full speed, but your chucking loads of oil in by having the throttle pinned.

Sounds more like its just over-oiling from idling for long periods.

Then as you accelerate away its burning the excess oil off.

Dont rag the throttle when cold, dont whip it open instantly and dont let it idle for too long.

Indeed, I had a terrible ride today because of the clunkiness of my bike because I let it idle for some 5 or 10 minutes of first start.

Terrible ride! Crying or Very sad
