I presume its the RIGHT key in the lock?
If so the tumblers inside should all be lined up, and you just need some way to turn it.
Pliers would be my start, and I's be messing with bull-nosed trying to grip the broken stub to twist, or a pair of pin nosed pushed into teh cracks to get the barel to turn.
After that, it would be a case of trying to find something to get the barel to turn, and a thing screwdriver pressed in flat against the key shank...
after that I'd probably be looking at the welder and thinking that I could weld a tang ot the thing, of not, errode the whole darn lot out!
If you could get the broken shank out, do you have a spare key?
If not, was that also the ignition key?
Prompting suggestion you're probably going to need a full lock-set anyway)
I mean, are you trying to salvahe the lock here for any good reason, or can it be utterly destroyed? ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
