recently bought a aerox 50 and am having lots of problems firstly the bike had a full MOT and I was told it had recently had new forks fitted , the bike starts ok and ticks over fine when I pull away its great really pulls but after about 500 metres it dies if I throttle back and wait a few seconds it goes ok again but only for about 500m ??.The next problem is it appears to pull to one side really feels weird when riding could this be something to do with alignment , any help greatly appreciated .

not sure about the cutting out, but have you checked your plugs?

check your head bearings, and see if the handle bar is bent (even slightly). And maybe get a new front tyre if it is quite worn.

It doesnt actually cut out just dies and have changed plug for new one .

Sounds like a fuel supply issue, float getting stick?

If the subframe is twisted does that mean the bike is scrap , surely this would show up on MOT ??.

Problem one.... Fuel starvation, strip and clean fuel system from tank to engine.

Problem two....Bent frame from the crash that bent the forks, knackered.

temperature seems normal but have only ridden for a mile because of problems when you say about oil do you mean transmission oil . the bike was running fine did a few things changed plug noticed slight leak at manifold tightened and stopped leak and started playing up could it be exhaust blocked ??

have spoken to the guy I bought it from and he assures me it has never been in accident .
