i've been doing a bit of a dig, and i'm becomming more and more convinced its a home brewed machine.

reason;
indicators put it mid sixties (at earliest) but the front girder suspension and seat layout look a lot earlier .

plus it appears to be an automatic.

(in short are there any other photos?)

though i did find this, which would make an epic winter hack

edit: had to change to a link as the image doesn't work

2nd edit: also i can't think of any manufacturer that has had a fully enclosed rear chain without any adjusters.

I did an image comparison search using tineye.com and although I haven't found any other pics of it, there are a few more speculations about it...

1) I’m not saying that it’s totally standard, but the front mudguard and fork design make me think it’s based on an Indian (real US manufacturer, went out of business in the 1950s or early 60s).

and

2) Seems more a serious effort to build an armored motorcycle than to build a custom bike that LOOKS armored. All the underlying parts I can see seem to indicate Korean conflict-era (1950s) work. And it MUST have worked at some point, judging by the overall gunk and corrosion coming from the engine area…

Regardless of what it is... It would certainly be a head turner!
